Cohort programs that build skills and strengthen connections.
Leadership growth doesn’t have to happen alone. Our cohort-based programs bring people together to build skills, learn from one another, and develop the relationships and confidence they need to lead more effectively.
We partner with funders, philanthropy associations, and capacity-building organizations to design custom leadership cohorts that support nonprofit leaders across a broader network or field.
We help your leaders:
Develop shared leadership skills and practices
Build stronger relationships across teams and roles
Learn from and support one another
Strengthen collaboration, trust, and connection
How It Works
1) We'll work together to identify the competencies and skills that you want your leaders to develop. We’ll clarify your goals for the cohort, including what success looks like for developing leaders and strengthening the field. From there, we’ll identify the competencies and skills you want participants to develop and determine how we’ll evaluate progress and measure success.
2) Then we move into the design stage. We’ll work together to create a cohort experience tailored to your goals—one that balances relationship-building, risk-taking, and skill-building. Together, we’ll shape the program to create the conditions for meaningful connection, learning, and growth.
3) Finally, we assess and evaluate throughout the experience to identify what needs to change or adapt as the program runs. We’ll also advise on recruitment best practices to help you build a strong cohort and support the program’s overall success.
Cohort experiences range from 1 day to 1 year.

"Amanda's cohort design was unlike any other leadership programs I had experienced — with individual goal setting, peer problem solving, and space to immediately apply new skills to my workflow. As a result, I have greater confidence in my leadership and I developed stronger coaching skills that have helped foster deeper conversations in my organization. Amanda takes the time to truly understand each person, navigates group needs skillfully, and does not shy away from difficult conversations — her facilitation and support made a measurable difference for me and my team."
